Tanto Mar Exhibition | Esther Bonder

Born by the sea, in Copacabana, and trained as an architect, Bonder worked with Roberto Burle Marx on art, garden, and landscape projects, deepening her relationship with the natural world under the influence of one of the greatest masters. Later, she continued her studies, investigating the relationships between the Earth’s rotation, the movements of the seas, and the oscillations of our emotions. A painter who combines technical precision with a unique imagination, Esther Bonder shows that if the Earth and waters affect our state of mind, her art does so just as much.
